Greetings, Internet! This week, I got a haircut, practiced vocals after a long break, and broke out the shorts because it’s starting to feel like spring! Daily summaries below!
Day Seven Hundred and Eighty-Five (5/6/22)
- Went to Push to Walk! My legs were super jittery maybe on account of all the rain? My poor trainer >.<
- Got a haircut! It was long overdue, in that it’s been over a year.
- Went out for dinner with my parents! Drank more sake than I intended to.
- The Mets game was postponed, but that made sense on account of the rain.
- Phoneday! =)
- Did some vocal practice! At long last!
- Wordle: In four!
- Currently feeling: It’s so rainy and blah outside, but today was still lovely =)
- Currently looping: A song that for some reason isn’t on the “Wicked” Original Broadway Recording (it features Nessarose). I have to learn it, for uh, reasons.
Day Seven Hundred and Eighty-Six (5/7/22)
- Did the FES cycle. Caught up on “Legends of Tomorrow.” I can’t believe I missed so much of it back in January/February.
- Behold! Pirate metal!
- My boyfriend’s here!
- All New York baseball postponed. Cue the sad New York hockey game, and rewatching “Rush Hour.”
- Wordle: Whoops.
- Currently feeling: Still plotting the second half of this dissertation chapter, but it will happen!
- Currently looping: Visions of Atlantis’ “Legion of the Seas” (Pirate metal!!)
Day Seven Hundred and Eighty-Seven (5/8/22)
- My boyfriend had never had dim sum before. We changed that.
- We also went outside to find a pepper mill. We came back with a doughnut. And no pepper mill.
- Then we wandered near a dog park and watched cute floofballs run around. Floofball is an appropriate synonym for some dogs. Also I can’t get over how corgis are shaped.
- Baseball double headers!
- Wordle: Whoops.
- Currently feeling: Watching other people’s dogs is more fun than having one. At least for now.
- Currently looping: The sounds of cute dogs at the dog park.
Day Seven Hundred and Eighty-Eight (5/9/22)
- Did the FES cycle.
- Guess who was on the phone with insurance companies for over an hour? This gal, right here.
- Went outside for groceries.
- Did some vocal practice. Realized this is only a thing I can do with the door shut because I get self-conscious AF.
- Wordle: Whoops.
- Currently feeling: Yikes, I haven’t practiced singing in a while.
- Currently looping: Halestorm has a new album!!! Check out “Back From the Dead.”
Day Seven Hundred and Eighty-Nine (5/10/22)
- Went to Push to Walk! It was so nice out, so I arm-cycled for about twenty minutes.
- My arms are so tired. So very tired.
- Huzzah for baseball! #LGM
- Unpacked a humidifier. The air in my apartment is so dry, so this was long overdue.
- Got a pepper mill!
- Wordle: Whoops.
- Currently feeling: This was a lovely productive day ^_^
- Currently looping: The sounds of baseball?
Day Seven Hundred and Ninety (5/11/22)
- That feeling when you get an email that you have a medical bill, and then you check the site, and there’s nothing. Huh.
- Worked on some writing!
- I’m in this book. Happy to talk about it if anyone has questions (although I’m a bit offended by the blurb review person who speaks as if a former self of mine died. She’s still here. Rude).
- One of the #triotime gals came over for dinner and recording stuff!
- Alas, Mets. Rubber game tomorrow.
- Wordle: Whoops.
- Currently feeling: It’s a warm fuzzy feeling when you have support for your pipe dreams ^_^
- Currently looping: Halestorm’s “Wicked Ways.” Dang, this is awesome. The line “I swore allegiance to the fire in my heart” is a contender for an arm tattoo.
Day Seven Hundred and Ninety-One (5/12/22)
- Did the FES cycle.
- Yay, Mets!
- It’s so nice out! Broke out the shorts and the short sleeves and went to a cheese shop with the boyfriend.
- So full of cheese.
- And cheesecake.
- Ugh, part of the stove isn’t working. Alas, need to call the repair people.
- Uploaded a video for a thing that was calling for a wheelchair user. The odds of getting it are LOL, but at least I tried something new!
- Wordle: Whoops.
- Currently feeling: So full. Of cheese.
- Currently looping: Sarah Jarosz’s live band performance of “Pay It No Mind.”
Thanks so much for reading! Stay safe, watch baseball, and go have some cheese!
