Greetings, Internet! I hope everyone is staying as safe and sane as can be. This week, I watched one of the greatest lipsyncs in RPDR herstory, began work on a presentation, and cackled as my current school busted brackets across the country. Daily summaries below!

March 10, 2023

• Went to traffic court with my mother and got the ticket thrown out, so huzzah!
• Did grocery shopping and got lunch. Mmm…lunch.
• Then got bubble tea, because mmm…boba.
• And we got back to my place before the downpour started, so yay for that.
• Watched the latest “RuPaul’s Drag Race” and omg, HOW WAS THAT NOT A DOUBLE SHANTAY?
• I mean, dang.
• But hey, at least my favorite is still there.
• Wordle: In six!
• Currently feeling: Like I’m going to go to bed after 1am again. I really need to get my sleep schedule together before Daylight Savings.
• Currently looping: No music today, just catching up on podcasts.

March 11, 2023

• Did the FES cycle. Started “The Mandalorian” season three.
• Tidied up a bit.
• My boyfriend’s here! And he brought hella pastries from a delightful Jersey City bakery.
• Mmm…pastries.
• There was also a Disney marathon on television today, so yay =)
• Wordle: Whoops.
• Currently feeling: So many emails and things I forgot to respond to. I need to work on writing emails that say, “I do not have time to do this right now,” but like, in a polite way.
• Currently looping: Doja Cat’s “Boss Bitch” because THAT RPDR LIP SYNC.

March 12, 2023

• Lazy Sunday! I.e. laundry day.
• Also, shaking my fist at Daylight Savings. But at least that means the sun goes down at 7pm, so that’s nice.
• I think my boyfriend and I literally spent the day eating and watching television. But also the weather outside was chilly and cloudy, so there wasn’t much incentive to go outside.
• Also, “The Dropout” is nuts. Amanda Seyfried is brilliant in it.
• Wordle: Whoops.
• Currently feeling: My sleep rhythm feels off by an hour. Gah.
• Currently looping: Anetra and Marcia Marcia Marcia’s lip sync is still living rent free in my  head.

March 13, 2023

• Going to make a note to myself not to eat Indian food and drink wine at the same time. Ugh, my stomach is not happy.
• I am also very sleepy.
• <drinks tea>
• Worked out with an SCI trainer and managed to get through it!
• Editing down this chapter to turn into a presentable paper. I might have to get a handout together. Or a powerpoint? I don’t know, I don’t think I have enough printer ink for handouts.
• I know it’s ridiculously expensive, but Pies ‘n’ Thighs and Lloyd’s Carrot Cake are both on Goldbelly and that brings me joy (because let’s face it, I’m most likely not trekking to either location unless I take a Lyft or something).
• Wait, so is Flour Bakery?! OH SNAP.
• If I ever do a wedding registry, it’s going to be at Goldbelly. Most likely. I don’t know if that’s possible.
• Whatever, let a woman dream.
• I agreed to write an article (for free) for someone as a favor to them. Now that person wants me to do a video for them (again, for free). And they didn’t even ask about my availability. They just sent me an email “to guide the video you’re recording soon. Good news! It’s only 4 minutes long =) in MP4 video format.”
• And they want it in three weeks.
• Um, four minutes is a long time.
• And I’m sorry, do I look like a doormat?
• And if they find this blog, I’m sure they’ll be offended that I’m offended. But maybe they should’ve been clearer about their intentions and expectations. And now I have to spend an hour writing an email reply that is the more polite version of, “I’m too booked and busy for this assignment, and I never agreed to do this extra work in the first place.”
• GAH.

• Currently feeling: Today was chaos, but thank goodness for the possibilities presented by Goldbelly?
• Currently looping: Spiritbox’s “Rotoscope” EP.

• Happy Pi(e) Day!
• Went to Push to Walk, because the snow wasn’t as bad as we thought it would be.
• And of course, my mother and I followed it up with some bubble tea.
• Therapy!
• MY DRIVER LICENSE CAME IN THE MAIL. HECK YEAH!
• Filled out my bracket! And as usual, I’m calling for chaos. MAY THE DANCE BEGIN.
• I showed my mother the RPDR Lip Sync, and she was not amused.
• I really want to try making this cacio e pepe dish.
• Wordle: In six!
• Currently feeling: I have an official driver license! Yay!
• Currently looping: Not much music today.

• Beware the Ides of March?
• So many phone calls to doctors’ offices. And follow-up emails. I had like, five minutes to look at the paper I have to give in two weeks. And then more emails.
• Got a facial, because my chin decided to have multiple breakouts at once.
• Then got a matcha!
• And now back to phone calls and emails.
• Tried to cook dinner, but couldn’t find any garlic that didn’t have a green plant growing in it. Bah.
• Then I threw the semi-cut garlic into the trash.
• And now my trash smells like garlic.
• I didn’t think this through.
• I also might have put too much cheese in the pasta I made. Yes, there is such a thing.
• Wordle: In three!
• Currently feeling: So many emails. And so much cheese.
• Currently looping: I learned recently that there’s a group of people (mostly straight men, who are we kidding?) who think that Meg White is a terrible drummer. I think they’re a bunch of jealous hos, because this sounds awesome.

• Happy March Madness!
• Did the FES cycle.
• Met a friend for tacos and margaritas!
• So many margaritas.
• I love margaritas.
• HA, I CALLED IT THAT PRINCETON WOULD UPSET ARIZONA. [It’s the featured picture!]
• LET THE BRACKETS BE BUSTED.
• My friend had never seen “The Last of Us,” but was curious, so now they’re bingeing it in my apartment.

• Currently feeling: Sobering up, but also, yay March Madness!
• Currently looping: Spotify’s “Metal Mix.”
